Horsemanship Camps
 **See Flyer below for info on 2026 Camps**
  • Half-day (9:00-12:00) camps and one full-day (9:00-3:00, NEW for 2026!) camp will be offered. There will be one single-day camp offered, as well as one 3-day camp.
  • All camps (with the exception of April Vacation and Full-Day Camps) are open to beginner/new riders, as well as riders with experience. All camps are ages 5 to 13 (Full-Day Camp is ages 6 to 14).
 
Half-Day (9:00-12:00) Weekly Schedule:
  • Kids will ride on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • Tuesday & Thursday will feature special horsemanship topics, such as watching the farrier trim and shoe our horses, horse handling from the ground, and abbreviated bareback riding lessons.
  • Friday will include a trail ride and ice cream party to finish the week.
  • The 3-day ½ day camp will include riding on all 3 days.
Full-Day (9:00-3:00) Weekly Schedule:
  • Kids ride all 5 days, combination lessons/trail rides/etc. 2 rides on Mon/Thurs/Fri, and 1 ride on Tues/Weds.
  • Horsemanship activities throughout the week, including helping with daily horse care.
  • Friday will include a pizza and ice cream party.
 
Single-day camps (9:00-12:00) include riding lessons in addition to horsemanship activities, and are a great opportunity to try out camp and riding.
  • Every camp will include crafts, games, and new friends!

Birthday Parties
Host your child's next birthday party at the farm! Pony rides, plenty of space to entertain, and lots of fun. Customizable to different size groups, ages, etc. Base price of $295 for 10 children. Feel free to contact us for more information.

Horse Shows
Although we are not a show barn, we host three very casual and fun shows for our students of all ages at the farm each year. These shows are only open to current Blackstrap Farm students and not to the public. ​
